On The Feminine & Masculine

From my teachings, I have learned some key things about the two genders.
(The two genders are the first division from the primordial.)
All things are composed of an orchestration of the two genders manifested, upon each point or part of it. All individuals have both pillars.

The Masculine is essentially energy. Idea needs a form, otherwise it has no refinement, no material hold, and cannot manifest. You need some raw idea, unfilitered inspiration, of course! The Masculine is The Sun. In the Tree of Life, it is Mercy. Without the Feminine, the Masculine cannot manifest, will never know discernment, nor contain a face that is true.

The Feminine is form. It is the container, the discipline. It is skeptical. It refines, regulates. The Feminine is The Moon. In the Tree of Life, it is Severity. Without the light from the Sun, the Moon can never truly illuminate, find purpose, or a point to regulate. It can similarly fall into chaos, an unfullfilled and aimless mundane, depression, paranoia, despair without the other. The Feminine is essentially matter.

This page will be updated with more details and examples. It is highly relevant in art and design, of course, on which I will elaborate.

Elements

Fire = Masculine
Air = Masculine traditionally,
while modern sees as more androgynous,
due to it containing other elements,
or acting as space.
Water = Feminine traditionally,
while modern sees as more androgynous
due to its filling matter.
Earth = Feminine
Aether = No-Gender
(Or before the division that permeates all that is.)

In Music

In Music, the feminine is on the off-beats. Feminine phrases might start with an offbeat and/or end with one. The Feminine is anacrusic, the Masculine is thetic.

Strong harmonic and intervallic and cadential movements might be masculine.
Higher registers are more feminine.
Softer phrases and textures, and legato parts, are generally more feminine, and the opposite is the opposite.
Much of this is relative and contextual, mind you!

This may be further elaborated on or recapitulated in Art-Theory.

In Design & Feng Shui

Masculine: Tall, rectangular, triangular, corners, trees.
Feminine: Irregular, round, wavy, square, earthbound.

Direction & Moon Phase

Upwards is masculine. Energy, force, inertia.
Downwards is Feminine. Gravity, stilling.
The back is feminine, the front is masculine.
A full or waxing moon is Yang, masculine.
A new or waning moon is Yin, feminine.
Left hand is feminine, right hand is masuline.
