Asgard & Ego

I am theorizing a link between the world of Asgardian tech / gods & Ego.

Ego is said to have floated around as conciousness until he learned to manipulate molecules and gain form, projectign himself from there. His creations were real, but less thechnological than purely material.

I find it highly possible that in the MCU, Odin, Thor, and asgardian magic/divinity is just technology that we do not understand yet. I wonder if it has a similar link to ego in that it might use mind based power. Interestingly, in Quill (Star Lord) uses his heart over his brain (I gues that kind of fits his less-intellectual character, to be fair).

What I do not know is if it originates from the mind, or if technology we do not see allows that mind-magic link. both are probable, IMO.

Either way, to recapitulate, I find it highly likely a similar harvest of mind power is used. It’s possible Dark Lord has residual powers as well, perhaps with some help of Asgardian tech he could restore it or augment it.

Now, with that theory in place, and as food-for-thought, I’ll create my fanfic arch.

Side idea: Perhaps Asgard is held together thru a similar being to Ego, and all are descended from him. Perhaps he even transcended, so that his descendants power can not be erased. Or perhaps he is gone, thru transcendence or etc, and the tech they’ve developed augments the residual powers. That would explain why some aren’t imbued with the energy, or the energy must be passed down willfully by someone imbued (Loki)…

Perhaps Ego is an emanation of the original energy, or a relative…

I’m kind of branching this out on the spot…
